I only found the faq's regarding the forum - not the bikes!
Normaly i'm into kawasaki triples.
But want a cool moped for special short trips on weekend and this is exactky what i want.
Yes eric. It's the one on ebay.
Think now a dutchman will take it home.
Have not much cash at the moment.

can you post some pics from your triples? I'd love to have one some day
hello again.i
Seems that i'm locked in.
Tryed it several times last month's, but had no luck. Meanwhile i buyed a rd50mx h12 with 4,6kw and only 7100km. It was not on the road since 1988.
A typical bike which was. Used for two years and than with 18 the owner buyed a car and behold the bike to reuse it NEVER!
Tank was half full and full of rust. Even the fuel line intake to tthe float valve was full of rust. I cleaned the carb and started the bike with a kh125 tank.
Started first kick and after running warm for around 2minutes it reved like a new bike and idled perfect.
All i nneed now is a new gas tank
Sorry again. I have only a mobile phone and it's hard to write.
Thank's for your answers mpro. I'm still hoping to get a fizzie but until that happens i will keep this rd50mx. All i need is a new gas tank. Does anyone know whete to get one?.
Tegarding the pictures of triples i'll try to sen some

first time I bump into this thread! sorry for that!
mine indeed came from austria, and had the 40Km's limit, with five gears
fast and slow pieces are interchangeable on a fizzy (luckily!)
RD's all have five gears and are less rare to find. Making'em fast is more easy too..
good luck on your moped search!

thank's for your answer yamasam.
i now found a company in my hometown which does fuel tank restos. hope to get back the tank in two weeks and then i can give feedback how she runs. my first moped was a puch m50 racing. then i did make the driving licence and buyed a zündapp ks50 watercooled with drum brake. my last kleinkraftrad was a italian cabbiano with a minarelli engine. 15 years ago no one in austria wanted kkr's with a topspeed over 40km/h. now the times have changed and prices are getting high.
i'm still looking for a fs1 and a early rd50dx. but they are rare and expensive now.

I also own a austrian 72 5 speed street FS1,
The only difference is that the power / light switch has an extra position
Normally it is; off->on - > light

I live in delft NL
I have also a 72 mode 5 speed from Austria l...in a poor shape at the moment

I have a matching numbers 5 speed fizzy as well in the UK , the plate on the frame said 1975 - it is all in bits , its perhaps either a 1975 Austrian or German bike I am at this point not totally sure, perhaps someone can confirm which it is for me based on the frame number, its an unrestricted reed valve engine with a 47400 alloy barrel which I am told is good for around 85 - 90 kmh
The frame number is there except last two numbers withheld - FS1-6602**
What do you think ?
Which country do you think originally sold it from new ?
I am building it as a special as it wasnt a complete bike it was mainly the frame, engine and fuel tank - it will have a nice disc brake front end fitted not drum, when its done I will post some pics when I build it.
