Hi everyone !

Following further negotiations with the Bat and Ball today and an update from site by Jed and Mark , we have achieved what we planned and wanted.
So I'm very pleased to be able to announce that we have now changed arrangements for camping at the Bat and Ball to the larger middle field that we have booked and we have discussed things more in depth with them, checked the facilities and we can report that it all looks good and adequate for our needs for our weekend.
There is no problems with sensible water usage etc ref camper vans etc there is two fill up points but for camper vans you would have to bring your own hose
and ref the question raised by one member speaking to Jed there is a very small number of electrical hook ups in certain places and you may have to pay a charge, but we will wait and see on the weekend whether or not anything is said to those using them.
The pub restaurant does an eat in menu
www.batandballpub.co.uk/#menu-item-3144
but I am also told by Mark the pub does a little bit cheaper takeaway menu - eg Pizza / fish and chips and if there was enough interest and the weather permitting they may do a barbeque outside the pub with reasonable prices for food on one of the evenings .
I am told access to the middle field is to drive past the pub, past the toilet / shower blocks etc into the carpark area and then you will see the gateway entrance to the middle field, these will be marked with flags when we get them in place .
RULES TO BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO
1) There is no ground fires or disposeable barbeques to be used a floor level - All barbeques to be used carefully and monitored until safely gone out, I am sure we can all appreciate the fire risk - this rule must be adhered to.
2) We will have a high number of people attending over the four days so everyone attending must think about others and please must use space wisely with vehicles and tents etc so everyone can fit in the field .
All we ask is that you respect rules and think of others.
We have worked hard behind the scenes to try and bring this Brighton back on track with as much of the original recipe as possible that we all loved very much and I hope now whatever the weather you will all appreciate the effort put into organising this event and show us the support and come along attend and enjoy a fun socialable weekend

best regards Nat
