Hello from austria
I'm planning to buy this bike with a stuck motor!
Most of cylinders and cranks are for '74 on wards models
Can i use them? Do i have the aditional ports on the backside of the cylinder?
Thanks
Chris

5 speed and 40KM/H think you make a mistake they are faster a lot faster !!

You need the FS1 Cylinder on it wich carberateur you have a 16 mm ? and high exhaust maybe ??

No mistake!
Yamasam has the same. In austria the 5speeder was selled as motorfahrrad with 40km/h don't know the carbsize because i have not buyed it yet.
Does anyone know about matching crank and cylinders?

All different cylinders and crankshafts that where used on the FS1 from 1969 till 1986 are interchangeable.
The 378 cylinder is the only one that has a port less (flushing channel?). So you don't want that cylinder!
Other cylinders are: FS1, F5B, 3F2, 2RU ...
But i don't know which models where sold in Austria :)

Denk dat hij bedoeld dat de FS! is aangemeld als brommer en hebben ze er een langzaam cylindertje opgezet thats all

Tis gewoon een street 5 bak zoals we gewend zijn

You mean the FS1 is angemeld as a moped and maby the put a slower cylinder on it thats all

you need the FS1 cylinder on that street

Thank you all.
Sorry, i have only a mobile phone and so it's hard to answer.
The bbike was on the shelf for around 20 years and i only know that similar bikes in austria ran nearly 85.
I think i will need a new crank and so it would be interested where i can get one?
Also i'll needa new cylinder. What do you recommend are the aluminium athena better for durability?
The bike has the high exhaust. I think it's not best for performance but want to keep it.

As NIX would say, these kind of questions are random asked, so please take the effort to check the FAQ's

hi and welcome, I like to order my parts from jmpb.nl or w-parts.nl
the athena cylinder is pretty much the best you can buy of the shelf, the crankshaft with the red red inlay is the "fastest" there is.
if you find a '72 5speed for the right price you shouldn't hesitate to buy it  , especially if nobody touched it for 20 years.

good luck with your purchase, if you have anymore questions just ask them and we would love to see some pictures
