What do you guys use on highly tuned motors are there uprated parts available that work or is it a case of fitting a better unit?

curious what this topic might bring up, a far as I know there are very little opions ..
there have been various brave atempts on the board here to modify the original part,
from two clutchhousings welded ontop of eachother and machined into a 'long' one with more frictionplates.
the righthand cover needed to be welded into a larger volume, leading to somewhat hideous exterior.

the 'light' tuneup consists of putting an extra metal plate in, and stronger springs.

with a little machining you can just get an extra frictionplate in.

..

the oil is also a good experimental terrain as you mentioned before

hope something comes up!!

I use (like Yamasam mentions) an extra metal plate and clutchsprings from a Yamaha DT80.

what is "draaibank" in english?

an extra steel pressure plate fits already in there for another friction plate you come up short about 3mm

with a "draaibank" you can get a few mm of the back pressureplate(were the springbolds go into) and another mm from the inside of the basket

and than you have a 5 plate clutch without no other modifications

this is what ginofs1 made and it works perfectly
